- Charlie Prodrebarac
Charlie Prodrebarac was born in Kansas City, Kansas, where he began his cartooning career drawing nuns in grade school. Although his parents wanted him to become a dentist, he studied advertising journalism at the University of Kansas so that he could pursue his dream of cartooning. Mr. Prodrebarac is the creator of the humor panel called Cowtown for the Kansas City Star, which was followed by two collections, Cowtown and Night of the Living Bar-B-Q. His cartoons have been published in magazines such as Business Law Today, Playboy, and Veterinary Medicine. He has produced hundreds of greeting cards and calendars for companies including Hallmark, Current, Paramount and Gibson Greetings.
