- Cathy Kenton
Cathy Kenton has lived in Johnson County Kansas most of her life, and has had a great interest in and love of art for as long as she can remember. She attended Shawnee Mission district schools and went on to Kansas University in Lawrence, where she received a BFA in Design. She has exhibited paintings in many juried shows, and has worked in Graphic Design as an Art Director and Illustrator. She currently lives in Overland Park and works as a Sales Manager for a locally based international company. Sales is a more lucrative and practical way for her to make a living, but art continues to play a large role in her life outside of the office. Art is much more than a hobby for meits a necessity! like breathing.
