"Herd it through the Grapevine" sports a lovely grapevine headdress, complete with grapes and corks, around her horns. Around her neck is her ever-present corkscrew attached to a leather strap (Function AND Fashion!). She has just recently come from one of her favorite activities-stomping grapes. She also sports wine labels from some of her favorite vintages from around the world... a well-traveled connoisseur of the grape.
Said artists, Cheryl Spry and Terri Sheldon-Merrill, “Our inspiration was that great MOOTOWN hit, "Heard it through the Grapevine" And the message.. Well, many folks think Kansas City is a "Cow Town" - which of course it is. But what many don't realize is that Kansas City is home to some terrific restaurants, recognized by notable publications (Food and Wine and Wine Spectator) as featuring award-winning selections of wine. One Kansas City restaurant is home to the most distinguished sommelier in the United States. We are proud of our hometown's love of good wine.”
