Need assistance with your Missouri and Kansas geography? Mo Cowntys is here to help. All of the area counties are outlined and painted a bright color with a point of interest unique to each area. State parks, the St. Louis Arch, Pony Express in St Joseph, Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri mule, Katy Trail are on one side as a topographical map. The other side of the cow is a map of Kansas City area featuring the Bartle Hall, the Three Trails in Independence, Fort Osage, Country Club Plaza, Liberty Memorial, Union Station, and Nelson Art Gallery. Each leg of the cow highlights one of Missouris primary agricultural corps
soybeans, corn, wheat and a dogwood tree and blossom. The head of the cow is adorned with a bonnet of Missouri wildflowers.
Artist Susan Johns began her career at the age of twelve when she sold her first painting and has made a career in art for over 25 years. As an accomplished potter, Johns owned her own gallery and craft shop in New Jersey and apprenticed with a master potter. Her paintings and sketches have been exhibited throughout the northeast in shows and juried shows with numerous awards and ribbons.
