01/ 16/ 01 Hallmark will ride herd over 10 bovines in CowParade

Hallmark Cards Inc. will sponsor a herd of 10 cows in the summer’s CowParade Kansas City.

Members of Hallmark’s creative staff and children attending Hallmark’s Kaleidoscope in Crown Center will decorate the 20 fiberglass cows, which will be included among 300 cows that will be placed throughout the metro area.

Kansas City businesses, families, groups and individuals can sponsor cows for $5,000 each. The proceeds will benefit youth programs put on by The American Royal, Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art and The Kansas City Zoo.
